Candidate Skills:

• BA degree in English, Technical Communications, or Journalism.
• Recent experience working with an HTML authoring tool such as Dreamweaver.
• Minimum 0 – 2 years’ experience developing technical documentation for select enterprise software audiences.
• Technical Communications Certificate or equivalent experience in related writing field.
• Hands-on experience or familiarity with accepted industry-specific publishing tools, such as Windows XP, Word, FrameMaker, FrameScript, IXGen, WebWorks, ISPF help (native or DTL, FAR (HTML Help tool), JavaHelp, HTML, Dreamweaver, XML, Adobe Acrobat, Documentum, and graphics packages, such as Paint Shop-Pro, and so on.

Job Description:

• The Associate Information Developer is a writing member of the IDD team with responsibility for authoring and updating content for enterprise software products for platform and application software.
• Associate Information Developer is an active participant within engineering and must have a basic understanding of the documentation development process, the software development process, and product lifecycles.
• The Associate Information Developer must also have a basic understanding of the relationships among cross-functional teams and be willing and able to work effectively with and within the processes and systems established by those teams.
• The ability to quickly learn and document the use, features, and benefits of new applications for specified audiences is required.
